L House – Zagon, Covasna

A project designed to support the specific dynamics of a family.

The studied land is located in Zagon, Covasna County.

The house is built on one level and surrounded by several green areas.

It has a 1654.80 sqm surface aligned with the adjoining lands and it has the great advantage of good placement for construction.

The concrete and decorative stone walkway provide a minimalist and airy exterior that facilitates circulation and creates a visual transition between inside and outside.
The building's facades reflect geometric shapes and straight lines that stylishly decorate the thick brick walls, complemented by large glass surfaces that create a sense of tranquilly and facilitate communication with the outdoors.

Rendering and Real Photos

It is proposed to build a single-family home, on a single level – ground floor.
The building will be positioned in compliance with the approved P.U.Z. regulation and the Civil Code. Along with the beneficiary, we established the location of the new building in relation to the limits of the land, these being at:

39.37 m to the street boundary, South;
0.83 m East;
2.74 m North

The main access in the building will be made from the southern side, from the street.
There are two more access points to the house, one from the northern side, one from the terrace area, on the West side, and a fourth access point through the garage, on the southern side of the house.
Around the building and up to the street, an alley paved with concrete slabs, decorative stone and wpc profiles for access and circulation will be arranged, and on the surface of the green area there will be trees, lawn and decorative plants. The structure is made of continuous concrete foundations under all the resistance walls. Brick masonry of 30 cm thickness on the outside, and on the inside the thicknesses vary from 16 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm to 30 cm, which will include the sanitary stations.

The roof is made of double wooden trusses that act as a protective and decorative element, contrasting with the anthracite grey weatherboards. The exterior structure houses an interior space that elegantly defines the open-space concept while providing privacy for each family member. The rustic element is also visible as soon as you cross the threshold of the house. It creates a feeling of comfort and warmth, harmonising with the entire palette of materials and shades used inside.
